Ralph Lauren - Complementary Love

To celebrate the 520 Shopping Festival - aka 'I love you' day in China - Ralph Laurent wanted to push their iconic and colourful Polo collection. The challenge I faced was how to blend both the festive elements with the heritage of Ralph Lauren through a unique storytelling that could capture the attention of the younger couples.

The wide wide colour spectrum of their Polo collection became the foundation of the creative concept I have developed: Complementary Love. Conventional color theory says that colours that lie opposite to one another on the
colour wheel— also knows as complementary colours—are especially pleasing together. It’s the same when it comes to love and relationships. After all, opposites attract. Through a curated storyline and cinematography, the audience explores the beauty of complementary love between a young couple through the lens of complementary colours from the Ralph Lauren Polo collection.
